Farm Factory (Excerpts)

Below is an excerpt from my novel I’m working on; about our (humans) origins and the other intelligent (mystical) beings that lives among us:

Farm Factory

The Blood War Series: Book 1

Chapter 1- The Farm

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

And the earth was…

No. Before those unsubstantiated mythological beliefs.

There was actually a very real unsettling, but

forgotten, even a secret story about us, and as to why we are here now. It all started from far, far away; around 120 light years away from where we are now. Long before there were humans on earth, there’s another planet that was reigned and inhabited by intelligent beings, they are far more intelligent being, but far worse than us, they—

Although sunlight sips through in the big glass covered windows overhead, it was somehow obscured by the smoky haze of mist. Three men in hazmat suits entered the misty poorly lit premises. They were all having a hard time peering from their misted transparent sight of their vinyl head gear; their every breath emits a cold fog mist. But still, they manage to wickedly smile at each other, looking to a man awkwardly, almost face to face. The man was tied upside down, hands restrained and feet hanged in a big mechanized steel hook. He’s bald and without a single hair on his whole body, he’s butt naked. Shivering, his skin glistens from sweat unexplainably, despite of the freezing temperature. He glares at the three, his teeth gnashing in both anger and cold.

One of the men on blue hazmat suit got hold of his neck, fingering something near his right ear, searching for a pulse. The hanged man quivers and wiggles to avoid his touch. “No need to struggle, you can’t fight this. Just remain calm.” But the hanged man eyed him suspiciously; gawking at the man’s other hand.

The hanged man continued to struggle. “Ha ha ha, as if there’s a way for him to get away.” The other men in equally blue hazmat suits, “They always do. Somehow it becomes entertaining. Each one, act differently: some screams, some froze stupid and some, sort a laugh, it's surprising.” and the other followed.

“Really?” said the man who’s wearing a white hazmat suit.

“My lord, is this your first time to see this?”

The lord is somewhat embarrassed, “No… I’ve probably seen it a hundred times.” he smirks, although the other two men could not see it from his hazmat mask.

A shiny object appears on the face of the hanged man and he quivered in panic, his eyes following the thing, while tears quickly flows out of his eyes, but then, it swiftly lethally grazes his right neck open. “Houuhhhh,” his mouth opens helplessly and blurted in agony. Blood spurted out of his carotid arteries; immediately cascading to his chin, his mouth, his nose, his cheek and finally blinding his eyes; while the three men in hazmat suit welcomes the blood rain upon them.

“Wow!” the Lord excitedly commented.

“Ha ha ha, Lord, you must have loved that. It’s one of the wonderful perks of our job. As you know, not everybody can experience this on a daily basis.” The man commented, while the hanged man continues to bleed, his blood being collected in a pool like vessel beneath them.

“My Lord, do you wanna have a go at it?”

The lord hastily grabbed the knife from the man and walks two steps, pulls another hanged man in position, from a row of hundred hanged men. In his excitement, he quickly sliced open the neck of one, the man’s throat in particular and “urgh, urgh, urgh…” it painfully struggles and waggles uncontrollably.

“Ha ha ha, my Lord, you have to hit the right mark.” One of the men grabs the knife from the lord and the other man seized the hanged man tight, and then swiftly, the other man sliced open the man’s carotid artery, and instantly spurting blood everywhere. But suddenly, BWHOOSH blood flashes everywhere from the blood pool beneath them; someone dives-in in the blood pool. Several men, equally in hazmat suits, were hastily throwing lasso ropes in the pool.

“What’s happening?” the Lord said.

“Another wild one escapee from the Shearer Dept., I think.” One of the men answered.

“What do you mean?” the lord followed.

“Wild captive as you know, where bushy and dirty, they need to be sheared first before shaving.”

“Not what I mean?”

“Ahh the wild ones. Unlike the one breed in captivity, tends to be… you know Lord— wild. And tend to escape whenever they have a chance.”

The wild one was being hauled out of the pool; struggling, with ropes on her neck, right arm and left leg. “This one spoils a bunch again.”

“Yeah, it will be coming-out of your pocket again.” said the men with the lord to the man underneath them.

“Yeah, I’ll pay the bunch and equally pay for this damn bitch again.” The man said, while he aims his blade to her neck. “Don’t! “Don’t kill her yet. ” Said the lord, and quickly go down the steel stairs underneath. And immediately grabs the head by the hair of the wild one. “I’ll pay for this one, even the spoil bunch.”

The man looks into the lord, and notice that he’s wearing a hazmat suit for royal visitors, “If it pleases you my lord… but this one is feisty. She had escaped several times.”

“Even better. The Princess like these types.”

The men seize the wild young girl and hog tied again, “Such a pesky beast. Why would the Princess want such trouble?”

“She likes crazy wild beast. She said they are the smart ones. The Princess will definitely love her. Keep her for now”. And the wild girl was carried out.

“Lord, now that you’ve seen the slaughter house, what do you want to see next? Perhaps, you might want to see the meat processing?”

“What’s so thrilling about watching meats being cutoff? I want to see the animals; how you breed them?”
